MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team shot the first match of the season on Saturday in Milledgeville, Georgia, against The Citadel's coed and women's teams and Georgia Southern.
 
Cierra Holcombe led the Terriers with a 538 in small bore and 571 in air rifle.  It was her first small bore match ever. Several Wofford shooters had their career best air rifle scores this weekend, including Zoe Kloth with 576 (finished second in air for the day), Seth Flanagan (566) and Nick Hunter (542). 

The Citadel coed team finished first with an aggregate score of 4361 followed by Georgia Southern at 4349, Wofford at 4281, and Citadel women at 4261. 
 
The Terriers next match will be October 17 against the University of Alabama Birmingham at the Taylor Center Rifle Range.
