ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Wofford College men's and women's cross country teams ran at the UNC Asheville Invitational on Saturday morning held on the campus of the Asheville Christian Academy. The women's team finished third overall, while the men took fourth place.

The men's 8K competition started things off and
Alex Michaels led the Terriers with a time of 26:37.44 to place 13
th overall.
Cisco Ferre finished next in 14
th place at 26:42.65.
Joe Harbacevich was 21
st overall with a time of 27:02.83.

David Grant, and K.J. Atwood also competed for the Terriers.

The women's 5K race followed and
Marella Angello finished ninth overall with a time of 19:19.16.
Anya Bunao was 13
th overall at 19:28.69, while
Rebeka Fadgyas was 18
th at 19:34.29. Alex Forster finished 21
st and crossed the line in 19:44.30. Also running for the Terriers were

Western Carolina won the men's race with 45 points. In the women's competition, UNC Asheville took first place with a total of 23 points.

Both the men's and women's teams will be back in action on Saturday, October 3 at the USC Upstate Invitational held at Milliken Park.
