STATESBORO, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team competed in its fourth match of the season and shot its highest score of the year in the inaugural match at the Georgia Southern Shooting Sports Education Center. Despite the effort, Wofford came up short against the Eagles 4317 to 4443.

Cierra Holcombe again led the Terrier effort with her 571 small bore score to take first place. She tied
Tommy McKelvey's school small bore record and added a 558 air score.
Seth Flanagan (526 small bore/551 air),
Nick Hunter (531/553),
Reid Schuster (505/522), and
Zach Hunter (520 air only) also shot for Wofford.

The Terriers have ended the fall portion of the 2016-17 schedule. They will compete next on January 28 at The Citadel.
