CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team competed against seven teams on Saturday inside the Inouye Marksmanship Center at The Citadel, including nationally ranked Air Force and North Georgia. The Terriers scored 4,292 points in the match.

Cierra Holcombe led the Wofford effort with her 557 smallbore and 558 air scores followed by
Nick Hunter (540/561) and
Seth Flanagan (508/543).
Zach Hunter, fired a 500 in his first ever smallbore match and his 525 air score was a personal best.Â

Fourth-ranked Air Force won the match with 4,767 points, and No. 20 North Georgia placed second with 4,547 points to hold off the third-place Bulldogs total of 4,518 points. VMI's men's team was fourth with 4,488 points, with the Keydet women's 4,408 points placing fifth. Wofford scored 4,292 to take sixth, and The Citadel women placed seventh with 4,263 points.
