Spartanburg, S.C. – The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams were released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Wofford's
Katie Beuerlein and
Hayley Younginer were the two Terriers that were recognized by CoSIDA.

Beuerlein, a senior from Knoxville, Tenn. finished the 2017 season with seven goals and five assists as she tallied 19 points in her 18 appearances. Aside from her performance on the field, Katie boasts a 4.0 GPA and will graduate in the spring with a degree in Biology.

Hayley Younginer, a redshirt-sophomore from Irmo, S.C. scored 21 goals and recorded four assists as she leads the nation in goals scored for the 2017 season. Off the field, Younginer has earned a 3.9 GPA as an English major and she will return to Wofford next year for her junior season.

Beuerlein and Younginer are two of three Southern Conference women's soccer players to be named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams. Samford's Virginia McNeill was the third player to be honored by CoSIDA.
