CARY, N.C. – The Wofford men's tennis team spent the weekend in Cary, North Carolina, as
Diego Losada,
Julian Chousa,
Omar Williams, and
Edu Villar competed in the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Duke University. The Terriers saw a pair of wins in singles play along with a win in doubles play on the weekend.

"We got a mouth full of great competition this weekend," said head coach
Rod Ray. "Our core values of determination, toughness, hard work, and sincerity stood out."
Wofford saw a pair of wins in singles play, with
Edu Villar picking up a win over Charlotte while
Omar Williams also added a win for the Terriers against Wake Forest.
Additionally, the duo of
Julian Chousa and
Omar Williams also earned a win over UNC Wilmington in doubles play.
"We won and lost against some great players this weekend, but most importantly, we got proof that our tireless effort in practice is paying off," added Ray. "We have a tremendous amount of momentum heading into our next event."

Next, the Terriers will compete in Charlotte at the UNC Charlotte Tournament on November 2-4.
