SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team competed against The Citadel, Georgia Southern and UAB on Saturday, along with N.C. State on Sunday, at the Taylor Center Rifle Range.
 
On Saturday, The Citadel men won the match with 4568 followed by UAB (4479), Georgia Southern (4458), Wofford (4378), and The Citadel women's team (4154). Cierra Holcombe led the team effort with 1100 followed by Andrew Visconti (1096), Scott Condo (1092), Zach Hunter and Marcus Stallings (both with 1086), and Seth Flanagan (1071). Nick Hunter (1065) and Brandy Barnes (1006) also shot for the team.
 
Wofford hosted 11th ranked North Carolina State on Sunday. The Wolfpack won the match 4645 to 4381. Cierra Holcombe led the team effort once again with 1109 followed by Scott Condo (1099), Zach Hunter (1095), Andrew Visconti (1072), and Marcus Stallings (1070). 
 
The Terriers will host North Georgia on Saturday, February 10 at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The NCAA Qualifier (February 17) and the Southern Conference Championship (March 3-4) will be held at The Citadel.
