Magee Named AP All-America Honorable Mention

Magee is the Third Terrier to Earn the Honor

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Wofford junior guard Fletcher Magee received honorable mention on the Associated Press's 2017-18 All-America team, released Tuesday. Magee is the third Terrier to be named AP All-America honorable mention and the first since the 2014-15 season. Karl Cochran took home the honor in 2014-15 and Noah Dahlman earned the recognition in 2009-10.

The Malcolm U. Pitt SoCon Player of the Year led the conference in scoring all season, averaging 22.1 points per contest. Magee led the NCAA in total threes made with 148, fifth all time in the NCAA Division I ranks for threes in a single season. His 4.35 threes per game ranked second nationally, while he was 7th from the line shooting 90.7%. He scored 751 points in the 2017-18 season, 11th most in the country, and set the Wofford record for points in a season. He also set the record for threes made in a career and in a single season and currently sits in 8th place in program history in scoring.
