SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College football team will begin preparations for the 2018 season when they report to campus on Thursday, August 2. The first practice under new head coach
Josh Conklin will be held on Friday, August 3.

On Thursday, the 97 players on the camp roster will report to campus. After a day of meetings, the first two practices will be in helmets only. The third and fourth practice will be in shoulder pads only. There are two full scrimmages scheduled.

Practice will be held on the practice fields, intramural field or Gibbs Stadium until the end of Carolina Panther training camp. All practices are open to the public; however, keep in mind that the schedule can change without notice.

The Southern Conference will not have a media day this season. The preseason media and coaches polls, along with the preseason All-Southern Conference Team, will be announced on Wednesday, July 25.

The Terriers will open the 2018 season on Saturday, September 1 against The Citadel at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Wofford Ticket Office at 864-597-4090.
