SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted the University of Alabama Birmingham on Saturday morning at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Blazers won the match by a 4510 to 4425 score.
 
In the individual standings, Wofford's Dan Wesson took first place with a score of 1,139. He was the top shooter in air rifle at 577 and tied for first in smallbore at 562. The next four spots were taken by UAB. Scott Condo had an 1,103 for sixth place, Marcus Stallings was at 1,101 for seventh and Andrew Visconti had a 1,082 for eighth place. Graham Boswell had a 496 in smallbore only, while Isabella Timmons had a personal best of 550 in air rifle only.
 
The Terriers will host Georgia Southern on Saturday, November 9, for the next match of the season.
