Becca Earl leads the pack at the Phoenix Invitational as the Terriers sit in second as a team.
Earl opened up play with an even-par 71 before firing a 5-under-par 66 in round two to take a one-stroke lead over Gardner-Webb's Linnea Hofgren. Wofford's
Lina Settelmayer had a solid day, shooting a 73 and a 72 to sit in a tie for eighth place going into round three.
As a team, Wofford is in second place, shooting 291 and 290, placing seven strokes ahead of the third and fourth place teams.
The third and final round of the Phoenix Invitational begins on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
