BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. –The Wofford women's golf team concluded their 2025-2026 season at the Southern Conference Tournament on Wednesday afternoon at the par-72 Columbia Country Club. The Terriers placed seventh with a 62-over 926 with
Bella Kent leading Wofford with a 14-over 230 to secure a tie for 17
th place.
Wofford opened with day one of tournament play with 311 before cutting it down to 308 on day two. The Terriers closed out their final round with 307 to take seventh in the nine-team field. Wofford finished with the third best par-4 average at 4.28 and finished with the third most pars made with 160. Furman clinched the Southern Conference title to receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals with a 13-over 301. Furman's Audrey Ryu carded a two-under 214 to secure the individual title in the 50-player field.
Bella Kent led the Terriers with a 14-over 230 to earn a tie for 17
th place. Kent (76-77-77) closed out her 2025-2026 campaign with seven top 20 finishes, five of them being top 10 finishes and two being top five. Senior
Lilli Horn finished her collegiate career with a 15-over 231 to place 19
th. Horn finished with the fifth best par-3 average with a 3.08. Horn (79-76-76) will conclude her career at Wofford with 14 top 20 finishes, seven top 10, including three top five. Horn earned a career low of 70 through her time as a Terrier with her best finishes being second place at the Low Country Intercollegiate in Spring 2025 and the Mimosa Hill Intercollegiate in Spring 2024.
Delaney Wade followed with a 20-over 236 to place tied for 26
th. Wade finished with the fifth most pars made during the tournament with 36. Wade (74-84-78) saw a new career low this season with a 70 and saw her first collegiate top ten finish at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate with a tenth-place finish. Freshman
Grace Lindsey ended her first Southern Conference run with a 27-over 243. Lindsey (85-80-78) saw her first collegiate top 20 finish this season with her 14
th place finish at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate.
Sofia Pedrero closed out the team lineup for the Terriers competing in round one of the tournament, before freshman
Valeria Melo came in as a substitute for Pedrero. Pedrero saw her first top five finish this season with her fifth-place finish at the Terrier Intercollegiate.
Valeria Melo closed out the last two rounds as a substitute carding a 75 and 76. Melo finished with the fifth best par-3 average at 3.13 and par-4 average at 4.15. Melo saw a career low of 73 this season with her best finish being for 24
th place at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate.
