STATESBORO, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team opened the season on Saturday with a match against UAB and Georgia Southern at the Shooting Sports Education Center in Statesboro. The Terriers finished third with a 4,449 aggregate score, while UAB had a 4,550 and Georgia Southern a 4,453.

Scott Condo led the Terriers with personal bests in both the smallbore (558) and air rifle (571) to finish fourth overall with an 1,129 aggregate score.
Dan Wesson was seventh overall with a score of 1,114.
Andrew Visconti (1,106) and
Marcus Stallings (1,100) also competed in both smallbore and air rifle.
Brandy Barnes has a 519 in smallbore only, while
Meredith Bean had a 531 in air rifle only.

Sophia Flores from UAB was first overall with an aggregate score of 1,142.

The Terriers will compete next on October 5 at The Citadel.
