SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team opened the season on Saturday with a match against UAB at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Blazers won the match by a score of 4602 to 4272.
Marcus Stalling led the Terriers in both air rifle (558) and small bore (548).
Isabella Timmons was next for Wofford with a 557 in air and 542 in small bore.
Meredith Bean (545 air, 488 small bore),
Jason Kellinger (508 air, 508 small bore) and
Jessy Delgado (526 air only) also competed in the match for the Terriers.
Overall, Zoe Lum of UAB had the best mark in small bore at 578 and Amy Kohan of UAB had a 587 in air rifle to take first.
The Terriers will be back in action on Saturday, February 6, against The Citadel and on Sunday, February 7, against North Georgia. Both matches will be held at the Taylor Center Rifle Range.
