Matthew Copeland (+1) recorded his first top-10 finish of the year on Tuesday afternoon, placing sixth individually to help lead the Terriers to a sixth-place finish, out of 16 teams, at the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Copeland was steady to open the final round on Tuesday morning, scoring an eagle and birdie back-to-back on the 10
th and 11
th holes, respectively, to see himself 3-under prior to slipping with a pair of bogeys on two of the last three holes to finish even (72). The Maryville, Tenn. native finished five strokes back of the tournament's individual co-champions in Keller Harper of Furman (-4) and Brandon Einstein of High Point (-4), who both finished with total scores of 212 after the final round's conclusion.

Wofford (+18) finished 3-over-par as a team on Tuesday to claim sixth place with a total score of 882 for the tournament. Charleston Southern (+7) won the tournament by two strokes over Augusta, with Furman (+11) finishing third, High Point (+14) finishing fourth and host Francis Marion University (+17) finishing in fifth - just one stroke ahead of the Terriers. The Terriers scored wins over Kennesaw State (+23), USC Aiken (+28), Chattanooga (+29), Dayton (+29), Winthrop (+38), Radford (+40), Gardner-Webb (+41), Seton Hall (+41), Presbyterian (+51) and Temple (+66).

The Terriers recorded 14 birdies on the day, including three on No. 2. Copeland led the field with 39 pars for the tournament, while being one of 16 players throughout the whole field to notch an eagle over two days of competition.

Senior
Ryan Marter (+3) turned in a final-round 73, with four birdies on No. 5, No. 9, No. 13 and No. 16, to finish tied for 11
th for a top-15 finish. Additionally, Marter was second among the field on par-5s, finishing six-under par with a 4.50 stroke average.

Sophomore
Matthew Larkin (+8) and junior
Walker Jones (+11) finished tied for 30
th and tied for 45
th, respectively. Larkin notched three birdies on No. 2, No. 7 and No. 10 to finish with a final-round 74, as Jones tallied four birdies to finish with an even-par 72.

Nick Willis (+17) finished with a total score of 233 to finish tied for 64
th to round out the Terriers competing in the tournament.
