Elisabeth Ralph as the program's inaugural First Team All-SoCon selection.
Hannah Wurzel,

Â
Ralph, a native of Hillsdale, New Jersey, marks the first First Team All-Southern Conference selection for the Wofford women's lacrosse program after a dominant, record-setting regular season that has also seen the junior become the first Wofford player to eclipse the 30-goal mark in a single season, with 34 on the year. Having notched back-to-back SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors on Mar. 30 and Apr. 6, Ralph has tallied at least two goals in all but one match this season, slated second in the conference for goals per game (3.40), as she became the program's all-time points and goals leader behind a school and SoCon record nine-point performance on a program and career-best nine goals in a 17-13 win at Presbyterian on Mar. 31. The team's leading point-getter (37), Ralph has dished three assists on the year, while she also leads the team in ground balls (20), while ranking third among the SoCon for the category (2.00/g). She corralled a career-high six ground balls in a 20-7 win at Delaware State on Apr. 12, as her contributions have also been felt at the X with the second-most draw controls on the team (26).
Â
Furnari notches her third career All-SoCon selection, previously a Second Team and All-Freshman honoree in 2019, as she's second on team in points (27) and goals (22), ranked fifth in the conference for goals per game (2.44), while having dished five assists on the season. Having enjoyed a monster month of April, that's seen 14 goals through three matches, Furnari was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week on Apr. 13 after matching a program record nine-point performance on a career-best eight goals, marking the second-most single-game goal tally in program history, and one assist in a 20-7 win at Delaware State on Apr. 12. Furnari has scored at least three goals over the past five consecutive matches, as she leads the team in free-position goals (7), having matched a program and career-best with three in the win at Delaware State. Slotted third on the team in draw controls (25), Furnari tallied a career-high seven against Furman on Apr. 21, marking the fourth-most draw controls recorded in a single game. The junior midfielder continues to climb Wofford's all-time leaderboards, currently charted second all-time in goals (61) and third all-time in points.
Â
Wurzel, a defender from Chester Springs, Pa., collects Second Team All-SoCon honors as her contributions span among many areas for the Terriers. A Preseason All-SoCon selection, Wurzel has started all 10 matches, talllying 12 draw controls, 10 ground balls and five caused turnovers to pair with one goal on the season. Wurzel notched her lone goal of the season on a free-position attempt in a win over Presbyterian on Mar. 31, while also tallying a season-high three ground balls in the match. She forced two caused turnovers against Gardner-Webb to open the season, coupled with another three ground balls, as she additionally posted a season-best five draw controls against Presbyterian.
Â
Gentile, a midfielder from Harwinton, Conn., notches her first career All-SoCon recognition, claiming Second Team and All-Freshman honors as the team's draw control leader (29), while ranking second in the conference with 2.90 per game. Gentile set a program and career-best with eight draw controls in a win over Presbyterian on Mar. 31. Gentile has earned 14 points on the year, with 11 goals and three assists, as she's recorded two goals in five separate matches this season, including a career-best two free-position goals at Mercer on Mar. 19. Second on the team in ground balls (17), Gentile set a career-high with five at Delaware State on Apr. 12, tying for the second-most single-game ground ball count in program history.
