SPARTANBURG S.C. – With the 2022-23 Wofford College men's and women's basketball season beginning soon, the teams will be hosting several events on Thursday, October 27, for students and fans. Highlighting the day will be the return of the "Terrier Tip-Off" event at 8:00 p.m. at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
The "Terrier Tip-off" will culminate a full day of activities on Thursday for the basketball programs. The day begins in Columbia with a breakfast at The Palmetto Club from 7:30-9:30 a.m. and lunch in Spartanburg at the Marriott from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Both of these events, sponsored by the Terrier Club, are for all fans, alumni and friends to join the men's and women's coaching staffs for a preview of the season.

At 8:00 p.m., the "Terrier Tip-Off" will get started. This event is free and open to all in the Wofford community. The activities will include a three-point shooting contest featuring members of both the men's and women's teams, a hot-shot competition by both the men's and women's basketball teams, plus buzzer beater and half-court shot opportunities for fans to win prizes. A brief autograph session with both teams will take place immediately following the on-court action.
