BELTON, S.C. – The Wofford men's tennis team wrapped up the fall season with the Southern Conference fall championships hosted by the Belton Tennis Association and Rex Maynard. Teams competing were Wofford, Furman, Chattanooga, UNCG and The Citadel.
 
All seven individuals competing for Wofford earned at least one win during the event. On Friday, there were one round of doubles play followed by two rounds of singles. Due to rain, the matches scheduled for Saturday and Sunday were cancelled.  
 
"We had a great first day at the Southern Conference Fall Individual Championship," said head coach Rod Ray. "We're embracing our identity and gaining confidence through that process. Every player has their own success story and I'm proud of the work they demonstrated this weekend."
 
Wofford will begin the spring season on January 15 at Clemson.
