HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Senior
Becca Earl (+10) notched her third consecutive top-10 finish this spring on Sunday afternoon to pace the Wofford women's golf team to an eighth-place finish, tied with Richmond, at its annual Low Country Intercollegiate, hosted at the par-72, 5,916-yard Moss Creek Golf Club North Course.

Earl finished 10
th among the 90-player field, using a birdie and eagle on the back nine in Saturday's first round to corral a 76 prior to notching five birdies in the second round for a consecutive 76 after 36 holes. Earl then added four more birdies to record the Terriers' low round for the tournament on Sunday with a 2-over 74 for a total score of 226.

The top-10 finish marks Earl's 14
th of her career, while leading Wofford and tying for the most birdies (11) among the field.

Additionally, Earl was the lone golfer to record an eagle over the tournament's 54 holes, in addition to finishing 2-under in par-5 scoring for the weekend.

Wofford (+84) tied with Richmond with a total score of 948, as Princeton (+24) won the team title, followed by USC Upstate (+37) in second. Princeton's Yanjun Liu (-2) finished as the tournament's low medalist, while USC Upstate's Suwarin Yordin (+2) finished runner-up.

The Terriers scored wins over Navy, UNC Asheville, Appalachian State, Winthrop, USC Beaufort, Presbyterian and The Citadel.

Lindsey Hollis (+17) followed Earl tied for 27
th, highlighted by a first-round 75 that featured four birdies, with a total score of 233, as freshman
Maggie Jackson (+27) finished 56
th with a score of 243.

Nicole Amos (+30) tied for 61
st with a score of 246, as senior
Speedy Kent (+55) rounded out the Terriers' lineup with a score of 271 in 87
th.

st with a score of 238 in parring a team-high 36 holes. Freshman
Taylor Burch (+34) tied for 68
th with a score of 250, while freshman
Karola Soe (+42) rounds out the Terriers competing with a score of 258 in 79
th.

Wofford returns to the course in Morganton, N.C., traveling to compete in the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, hosted by Appalachian State, on Monday, Apr. 4-5. The Terriers will then prepare next for the 2022 Southern Conference Championship in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Apr. 17-19.Â
