CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South announced its 2022 postseason women's lacrosse all-conference teams and annual awards on Friday afternoon, as
Elisabeth Ralph and
Emma Krasinski were named All-Big South honorable mention and
Moira Carroll was named to the Big South All-Academic Team.

Ralph, an attacker from Hillsdale, N.J. and previous first team all-SoCon selection, closes her Wofford career with Big South recognition after breaking her own and the program's individual season record for points (44) and goals (38), in addition to dishing six assists, as the team's season and all-time leader for the 2022 season. Ralph became the first Terrier in program history to surpass 40 points in a season, 100 career points and 100 career goals during her historic senior campaign, recording points in 14 of 16 games while also leading the team in free-position goals (11). Ralph tallied three or more goals on eight occasions this season, netting season-highs of five goals at Delaware State (Mar. 26), Gardner-Webb (Apr. 9) and Longwood (Apr. 20), while capping Wofford's winningest season with a season-high six-point performance on four goals and two assists in a 14-7 win over Radford on Apr. 27. Additionally, Ralph posted season-highs of four ground balls in three games, while tallying a season-best six draw controls against Kent State on Feb. 27.

The senior finished the 2022 season with totals of 44 points (38 G, 6 A), 20 ground balls, 14 draw controls and five caused turnovers, while capping her career as the program's all-time leader in points (129) and goals (111).

Krasinski, a junior defender from Atlanta, Ga., earns All-Big South honorable mention after recording 20 points for the season with 18 goals and two assists, in addition to a team-high 48 draw controls, 30 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers through 16 starts. Krasinski's 48 draw controls marked the second most a Terrier has ever recorded in a season (58 - Delaney Irwin, 2018), tallying a career-high eight against Presbyterian – which matched a single-game program record – en route to a career-high four-goal performance in Wofford's first-ever Big South league victory over the Blue Hose on Apr. 6. Krasinski finished second on the team in ground balls and caused turnovers, seeing Wofford finish the season ninth in the country for ground balls (19.7/g), as she scooped a career-best five ground balls against Kent State on Feb. 27, while notching season-highs of two caused turnovers on three separate occasions.

Carroll, a junior defender from Wilmington, Del., was named to the Big South All-Academic Team upon holding a 3.87 GPA as a Biology major, while starting 12 of 15 games played for the 2022 season with totals of 11 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and three draw controls. A previous SoCon All-Academic Team, Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner's Medal recipient, Carroll recorded caused turnovers in three games this season at Furman (Mar. 30), Mercer (Apr. 13) and versus Campell (Apr. 16). Carroll's performance at Furman in Wofford's Big South opener marked a career-best performance, posting career-high efforts of four draw controls and four ground balls. She additionally recorded a pair of ground balls at Mercer and at Longwood on Apr. 20.

Wofford concluded the 2022 season 5-11 overall and 3-6 in league action through its inaugural season of Big South competition, completing its winningest season in program history with five wins through the program's fifth year of existence.
