MORGANTON, N.C. – Senior
Becca Earl recorded her fourth consecutive top-10 finish this spring, while juniors
Nicole Amos and
Lindsey Hollis added top-20 finishes on Tuesday afternoon to pace the Wofford women's golf team to a fifth-place finish out of 12 teams at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, hosted by Appalachian State.

Wofford (+39) finished eight strokes better than the next team with a total score of 903 for the tournament, while scoring wins over Elon, Gardner-Webb, Winthrop, Appalachian State, Presbyterian, The Citadel and N.C. Central.

Georgia Southern (+8) won the tournament's crown by five strokes over USC Upstate (+13), followed by Jacksonville State (+20) in third. GSU's Sarunchana Rattanasin (-8) was tabbed the field's low medalist.

Earl (+3) added her fourth top-10 finish of the spring in seventh place with a score 219, while leading the 73-player field with 38 pars through 54 holes of play.

The Terriers briefly led through the first round and were tied for third as a team after 18 holes, seeing Earl open strong with a 2-under 70 before recording a 75 in the second round. The senior then finished the final round with a 2-over 74 to secure her spot inside the individual top 10. Additionally, Earl finished third amongst the field in par-3 scoring at 2-under.

Nicole Amos (+10) added her best finish of the spring tied for 14
th with a score of 226, opening with a 75 and 78 through the opening 36 holes prior to reeling it in over the final 18 with a 1-over 73 for the top-20 result. Amos and Earl both led Wofford with a team-high seven birdies each.

Lindsey Hollis (+11) adds her third top-20 finish this spring tied for 16
th, recording a pair of birdies for a first-round 75 before a rough second-round back nine performance ended with a 77 after 36 holes. The junior then added another pair of birdies in Tuesday's final round to record a 75 for a total of 227.

Maggie Jackson (+15) finished tied for 24
th with a score of 231, while senior
Emma King (+26) rounded out the Terriers' lineup tied for 45
th with a score of 242. Senior
Speedy Kent (+24) competed as an individual tied for 39
th with a score of 240.

Wofford turns its focus to the 2022 Southern Conference Championships, slated to begin Sunday, Apr. 17-19, in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
