SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Head coach Joel Tyson has announced the 2023 Wofford College men's soccer schedule. The slate is highlighted by eight home matches at Snyder Field and visits to ACC foes Duke and Wake Forest.  
 
The Terriers will have three exhibition matches, beginning on Saturday, August 12, when High Point visits Spartanburg. The Panthers reached the second round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament. Additional exhibitions will be against Davidson (August 15), and at South Carolina (August 18).
 
The regular season begins on Thursday, August 24, on the road at Gardner-Webb. Wofford returns home to host Charlotte (August 28) before back-to-back road matches at Duke (August 31) and at Georgia State (September 5). The Blue Devils advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
 
Wofford will then have a four-match homestand beginning with UNC Asheville on September 12. The Terriers will then host Radford (September 16), Queens (September 19) and Winthrop (September 26). The Southern Conference slate begins on September 30 at East Tennessee State and will be followed by a road match at Presbyterian (October 3).
 
After a home match against Mercer (October 7), the Terriers will visit NCAA Tournament participant Wake Forest (October 10) for the second-straight season. UNCG, the 2022 Southern Conference Champion, face Wofford at Snyder Field on October 14.
 
A home match against VMI (October 21) will be followed by a short trip across town to face USC Upstate (October 24). The regular season ends on Saturday, October 28, when the Terriers host Furman on Senior Night. The 2023 Southern Conference Tournament will begin with quarterfinals on Friday, November 3.
