SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The 2022-23 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced today, honoring 1,401 women's collegiate golfers, including four Terriers.

Xuan Khue Minh Doan,
Lindsey Hollis and
Maggie Jackson of the Wofford College women's golf team earned the prestigious recognition.

Amos, a senior from Kent, England, adds yet another academic honor to her resume for the 2022-23 season, also garnering a spot on the 2022-23 Southern Conference All-Academic Team alongside SoCon Academic Honor Roll honors and a 2023 CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team nod. On the course, Amos tallied a stroke average of 78.14 in her final campaign. Her best result was a top-10 finish in the SoCon Championship, tying for eighth with a 231 score.

Doan, a freshman from Hanoi, Vietnam, earns this honor to go with her SoCon Academic Honor Roll selection. She accrued four top-20 finishes, including one top-10 result, in her rookie season and was named SoCon Player of the Week on Oct. 26 for her ninth-place finish in the Terrier Intercollegiate.

Hollis, a senior from Signal Mountain, Tenn., was also named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll and SoCon All-Academic Team this season. She averaged 78.27 with a pair of top 20s on the campaign. She placed 15
th twice, in back-to-back events at the Grandover Fall Classic and Edisto Island Invitational.

Jackson, a sophomore from Tallulah Falls, Ga., garnered a CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team selection and added her name to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll and SoCon All-Academic Team. With a stroke average of 78.55, Jackson placed in the top 10 twice and added a third top-20 finish. Her third-place result in the Grandover Fall Classic was a career high and best by a Terrier this season. She followed that performance with a ninth-place result in the Edisto Island Invitational, carding a career-best 217, aided by a career-low round of 70 in the third round.

To qualify for the All-American Scholar Team, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher while continuing to garner amateur status and must participate in a minimum of 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds.
