SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The 2023 campaign has officially begun for Wofford Men's Soccer. The team reported back to campus on Monday, August 7, for introductory meetings and hit the field for their first practice the following morning.

Joel Tyson is coming off his most successful campaign to date and brings back 26 players from the previous season, highlighted by Southern Conference Freshman of the Year, First Team All-Southern Conference selection, Southern Conference All-Freshman team selection and leading scorer
Nikolai Rojel. Rojel is joined by nine other returnees who each started 10 games or more last season including 2022 Southern Conference All-Freshman team selections

A trip to preseason #4 Duke highlights the early schedule for the Terriers who open their season in Boiling Springs, North Carolina against Gardner-Webb on Thursday, August 24, followed by the home opener on Monday, August 28, against Charlotte. Conference play kicks off Saturday, September 30, at ETSU.
Fans will have two opportunities to see the Terriers in action before the regular season begins with a pair of exhibitions. The first chance is Saturday, August 12, at 11 AM against High Point and the other opportunity is Tuesday, August 15, at 5 PM against Davidson. Both matches will be played at Snyder Field.
