Spartanburg, SC – Wofford men's basketball Director of Player Development Nate Williams had Assistant Coach added to his title on Monday, January 29, 2024, officially making his title "Assistant Coach / Director of Player Development."

With the NCAA now allowing for teams to have five assistant coaches, Head Coach Dwight Perry felt Williams' performance warranted the promotion, "Nate has been an invaluable addition to our staff. We wanted his title to more accurately reflect the value he brings to Wofford on and off the court."

Williams joined the Wofford staff in April 2023 after spending the 2022-23 basketball season as an assistant coach for his alma mater, Emmanuel College, where the team won the Conference Carolinas conference tournament and clinched a birth in the NCAA D-II tournament.
