The Terriers are 5-5 entering the game, following victories over Gardner-Webb (21-20), #14 Richmond (26-19), VMI (31-16), Samford (17-13), and Furman (19-13), along with losses to #13 William & Mary (28-21), #12 Mercer (22-3), Western Carolina (21-17), #19 Chattanooga (37-5), and #23 East Tennessee State (24-7) ... In the Southern Conference, the Terriers are 3-4 this season ... In a series that began in 1916, The Citadel holds a 44-32-1 lead in the 77 games played ... Shawn Watson is in his second full season as head coach of the Terriers. On offense, the offensive line features returning starters
Quincy Hughes,
Anthony Garcia and
Briggs Kearse.
Luke Moise and
Mason Howard will be at the other two spots. The pro spread offense usually sees three receivers, one tight end and one running back in most formations.
Kyle Watkins has 43 catches for 681 yards, while
Isaiah Scott has 26 catches for 318 yards.
Jordan Davis starts at tight end and has 15 catches and three touchdowns.
Ryan Ingram leads the team in rushing with 547 yards on 130 carries with a team-best six touchdowns. At quarterback,
Amari Odom started the first four games, Pauly Seeley started the next three contests and
Bryce Corriston started against ETSU. Odom was back as starter against Samford and Furman.
   The defense remains a 3-4 base, with the defensive line led by returners
Brandon Maina and
Anthonie Lattany, with Lattany leading the team with three sacks. They are joined by
O'marion Brown. The linebacker position has three returners from last season.
Jalen Marshall leads the team with 83 tackles, while
John Boyles and
David Powers also started last season. Isaiah Managa steps in to start at the other outside linebacker position. In the secondary,
Amir Annoor and
Isaiah Wadsworth return at cornerback. At safety, transfer
C.J. Coombes joins returner
Maximus Pulley.

Devery Cagle is 7-of-8 on field goals.

COMPARED TO LAST YEAR
With ten games played, the Terriers have shown improvement over last year. The five wins are equal to the last two years combined (5). The team has scored 167 points compared to 133 in the first ten games in 2023, while also giving up 203 points as opposed to 265 last season. Big plays are a part of the success, with 35 plays of 20 or more yards so far, compared to just 28 total in the 2023 season.

JERRY RICE AWARD WATCH LIST
Wofford defensive back
C.J. Coombes is one of 30 players named to the in-season watch list of the Stats Perform 2024 Jerry Rice Award, which honors the FCS freshman player of the year in college football's Division I subdivision. Coombes, a second-year freshman from Bellefonte, Delaware, is second on the team in total tackles with 51. Among the SoCon leaders he is ninth in total tackles and he is ranked 12th in the nation in solo tackles.
TORNADO OF TERRIERS
Kids are welcome to join the "Tornado of Terriers" and lead the team as they run out onto the field. Parents can bring their children to the field level by using the stairs at the bottom of section H1 or the gate on the home side of the Verandah Lot at 1:00 PM.
TERRIER WALK
There are two chances to see the team before the game. One is the Terrier Walk, which begins at 11:15 AMÂ at the horseshoe behind Old Main and continues down Evins Street to the Verandah Lot. The second chance is in the Harley Room as the team prepares to enter the field at 1:20 PM. Verandah Lot ticket holders can use the doors at the side of the building to enter.

Wofford Sports Properties, the multimedia rights partner for Wofford College Athletics, has announced the return of "Inside Wofford Football with Coach
Shawn Watson." The show is part of an expanded selection of coaches shows that began last season. The shows, sponsored by Yokohama, are hosted by the voice of the Terriers, Jim Noble. CLEAR BAG POLICY
Wofford began a clear bag policy in 2018. Fans will be permitted to enter with a clear bag that does not exceed 12" in height by 6" in depth by 12" in width. A simple one-gallon clear plastic bag, such as a Ziploc bag or similar, is acceptable. Fans will be allowed to carry in a small clutch bag, approximately the size of a hand or 4.5" by 6.5", with or without a handle or strap. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the game.
GAME DAY PARKING
Reminder that all football parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff (10:00 AM on October 26). A parking map can be found

STUDENT PARKING
The following parking areas will need to be
cleared by Friday (Oct. 25) at 5 p.m.
- Verandah lot.
- The first two rows of the Mungo Student Center lot nearest the Mungo Student Center.
- The Cummings Street lot.
- Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium side and back lots.
The following lots
are available for parking as you move your vehicles from the above lots, which are reserved for game day.
- G2 lot, in the grassy area between the back of the Stewart H. Johnson Greek Village and Liberty Trail. NOTE: G2 is free on Friday but will be $10 after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
- The lot that once was attached to Calvary Baptist Church, near the senior village apartments. The church has been demolished, but parking remains available to students.
- Wofford spaces in the lot adjacent to Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. These will be available Friday afternoon after 4 p.m.
- The horseshoe between Shipp and DuPré Halls (behind Main Building), after 4 p.m., Friday.
- The Montgomery Music Building lot.
- Admissions lot, except for spaces reserved spots for Admission guests.
- Lots adjacent to the Office of Marketing and Communications and Information Technology Services (across Church Street) will also be available to students who need to move their vehicles.
