Box Score DELAND, Fla. – The Wofford College men's tennis team was defeated 7-0 on Saturday afternoon by Stetson University at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center. The Hatters won the doubles point and then won all six singles matches.
 
The Hatters started the day by winning the #1 and #2 doubles positions to take the point. The #3 position was unfinished.
 
In singles, Stetson had straight-set wins at the #1, #2, #4, #5 and #6 positions. At the #3 position, Will Fullett lost the first set 3-6, but won the second set 6-4. In the third set tiebreaker, the Hatters had a 10-4 win to complete the match.
 
Wofford (0-2) will have their home opener on Thursday, February8, at 2:30 p.m. against UNC Asheville. The Hatter improve to 3-2 on the season.
