SPARTANBURG, S.C. –Wofford baseball head coach
J.J. Edwards has announced the latest signing class of student-athletes who have signed an athletics aid agreement or letter of commitment to join the Terriers next fall. The signing class features 11 student-athletes.
"We are extremely excited about our 2026 class," said Edwards. "Our staff has put in countless hours on the road and on the phone to identify the right student-athletes who fit Wofford College. Coach Brown, Coach Hughes, Coach Reynolds, and Coach Byorick have invested a tremendous amount of time into this class, and we owe a great deal of credit to them for bringing these young men to our campus here in Spartanburg. We are excited to see them in the Black and Gold over the next four years."
This class features seven pitchers, a catcher, a pair of two-way players, an infielder, and an outfielder. The class spans five total states, including six from the Carolinas. Wofford baseball continues to bring in in-state talent as South Carolina was the most-featured state with five future Terriers residing here.
"I am very excited about this group of incoming pitchers joining our program," said associate head coach and pitching coach
Pat Brown. "They possess a lot of the qualities we value both as baseball players and students. I'm excited for these guys to get to campus and get to work."
"This class of position players is an exciting and well-rounded group of hitters and fielders who represent the Wofford brand of baseball," said assistant coach and hitting coach
Hudson Byorick. "I look forward to coaching them over their careers at Wofford and watching them develop into exceptional players."
