SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford track and field head coach
Johnny Bomar has announced the 2025-26 men's and women's track and field schedule. The indoor season will begin in December, with the Southern Conference Championship in February. The outdoor season begins in March, with the SoCon Championship set for May 11 and 12.
Last season at the Southern Conference Indoor Championship, the women finished second overall and the men were sixth. League titles were won by
Sherika Christie (long jump and triple jump) and
Olivia Bagg (pentathlon). Christie was named the Women's Most Outstanding Athlete for the second consecutive year. Eleven All-SoCon honors were earned by the two teams.
During the 2025 outdoor season, the women were third at the Southern Conference Championship, with the men finishing seventh. Titles were won by
Olivia Bagg in the heptathlon,
Sherika Christie in the long jump,
Dani Emmen in the hammer throw,
Ellie Sawicki in the discus, and the men's 4x100 relay team. A total of 14 All-SoCon honors were earned between the two squads.
