Wofford is set to face off against its second-straight former SoCon foe in Elon this weekend. The Terriers lost a tight 9-8 midweek battle at the College of Charleston on Tuesday to enter the weekend at 12-5. The Phoenix are 7-9 and fresh off a 10-1 midweek triumph over Radford at home. The programs are quite familiar as Elon used to be a SoCon member and holds a 32-14-1 all-time record against Wofford in a series that dates back to 1916. The Terriers won the last meeting 15-9 last season in Elon behind a seven-run sixth inning. That was the first meeting between the teams since Elon left the SoCon for the CAA, and this weekend will mark the first three-game series between the teams since the Phoenix's departure. The series is a split location set with the first two contests slated to take place in Elon, and the Sunday finale will be at Russell C. King Field.

Say Hey, Haber
Adam Haber has settled in nicely after being a JuCo transfer to Wofford last season. As a senior in 2025, Haber is hitting .365 to currently tie for the team lead with
Harrison Campi. Haber has a good eye at the dish, striking out only five times on the season while working 10 walks. With a strikeout rate of one every 10.4 at-bats, Haber ranks as the third-toughest player to strikeout in the conference. The outfielder owns 19 hits with four doubles, adding 11 runs, seven RBI, and a perfect 4-for-4 on steals. Haber has been consistent at the beginning of the campaign, posting a current 13-game on-base streak. Haber is a situational guru for Wofford, posting a .360 (9-for-25) average with runners on base alongside a .370 clip (10-for-27) with the bases empty. When runners are in scoring position, Haber clutches up with a .353 mark (6-for-17), and he hits .313 (5-for-16) with two outs.

Nothing for Free
While drawing plenty of walks at the dish, Wofford does not issue many on the mound., and this has been a consistent trend for several seasons now. This season, Wofford has issued just 55 walks compared to 138 strikeouts hurled. This comes out to a 3.44 walks per nine innings rate, best in the SoCon and 25th in the country. No Terrier hurler has issued more than nine total walks this season with 14 of the 16 to pitch so far owning five or less. Wofford's lack of free passes issued aids in a 2.51 strikeout-to-walk ratio, second best in the conference and 50th in the country. The Terriers only have two games with more than four walks issued. Reliever
Champ Davis has paced the team with a walks per nine innings rate of 2.08, ninth best in the conference. He has issued just five free passes in 21.2 innings of work, compared to his 20 strikeouts.

He adds in 16 total hits with 19 runs, 10 RBI, and 10 walks. His 19 runs rank 11th in the SoCon.
