Wofford Women’s Basketball 2025-26 Schedule Announced

Terriers are set for 28 games, including 13 at home

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The 2025-26 slate for the Wofford women's basketball team has been revealed by head coach Jimmy Garrity alongside the Southern Conference's announcement of the league schedule, presented by Ingles, for all eight SoCon squads. The Terriers will have a 28-game schedule with 13 contests hosted inside Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.

"It is always an exciting time when our upcoming schedule is released," said Garrity. "It's the indicator our players are close to returning and a new season is right around the corner. We had a very productive summer with our players on campus and with our staff planning and preparing for the season ahead. Our non-conference schedule has great balance and variety that will help prepare us for Southern Conference play. The SoCon, yet again, is balanced with incredible talent and coaching staffs from top to bottom. With several new players in our program, we are looking forward to seeing them continue to gel with their teammates, enjoy each other, and work extremely hard fine tuning their game to be the best they can be representing Wofford College. We have strong leadership and a talented group of players who bring incredible enthusiasm on and off the court. I know our staff is really looking forward to getting them back on the court and our season to begin!"

The season begins on Monday, November 3, with crosstown foe Converse University coming to Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. This will mark the first meeting between the schools since Wofford transitioned to Division I as the Terriers and Valkyries last squared off in 1994.

The first road contest of the campaign follows with a trip to High Point on Saturday, November 8. The Terriers return home to welcome Georgia State to town on Tuesday, November 11.

Wofford embarks on a three-game North Carolina road stretch beginning with a trip up the mountains to Boone. The Terriers face Appalachian State on November 16. Wofford then plays Charlotte on November 22 and UNC Asheville three days later on November 25.

Returning home, the Terriers face former SoCon foe Georgia Southern on Saturday, November 30. Another trip to the Tar Heel State follows as Wofford heads to Boiling Springs, North Carolina, to face Gardner-Webb on December 4. A home game against Charleston Southern (Dec. 6) is followed by a trip to Ole Miss on December 13.

The Terriers face East Carolina in Greenville, North Carolina, on December 17 and then host King University on December 19. The penultimate non-conference match-up is slated for Sunday, December 28, at Georgia Tech. The final test before the SoCon slate is January 1 against Southern Wesleyan.

The conference campaign begins on the road with the opener on January 8 at Chattanooga. Two days later, the Terriers travel to Johnson City, Tennessee, to face ETSU.

Wofford's first home conference foe is Western Carolina on Thursday, January 15. UNCG comes to Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on January 17. A road trip to Samford (Jan. 22) and Mercer (Jan. 24) follows, and the first half of conference play wraps up with the rival Furman Paladins coming to Spartanburg on February 1.

As the calendar flips to February the Terriers enter the back half of league play by welcoming ETSU (Feb. 5) and Chattanooga (Feb. 7) to Spartanburg. The Terriers head to the Tar Heel State to face UNCG (Feb. 12) and Western Carolina (Feb. 14). Wofford then hosts its final two home games of the season with Mercer on February 19 and Samford on February 21. The 2025-26 regular season ends with a rivalry tilt in Greenville as the Terriers face the Paladins on Saturday, February 28.

The Southern Conference Tournament will be held in Asheville, North Carolina, at the Harrah's Cherokee Center – Asheville from March 5 to 8.

The Terriers were 17-12 last season with an 8-6 SoCon clip. Wofford advanced to the semifinals of the SoCon Tournament for a fifth-straight season, the longest active streak in the conference. The Terriers return seven players from last season's squad, including lone senior Mia Flor and SoCon All-Freshman Team selection Molly Masingale. Six newcomers join the team, including four freshmen and two junior transfers.
