SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region Teams have been announced across all eight regions, with Wofford's
Alec Bouchard earning a spot on the Atlantic Region second team. The teams are selected by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association, with the process overseen by the ABCA NCAA Division I All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
Bouchard, a junior pitcher from Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, was named the Southern Conference Pitcher of the Year and received All-SoCon First Team recognition. He posted a league-best 2.83 ERA over 86.0 innings pitched, starting in 15 games. He had 104 strikeouts to lead the team and rank second in the SoCon. His nine wins also led the team and were tied for first in the league.
Bouchard is just the fifth Terrier to earn a spot on the All-Region Team, joining Brandon Waring (2007), Mac Doyle (2010), Ryan Galanie (2023) and Zac Cowan (2024). He is one of six players from the Southern Conference to be honored this season.
