Conway, S.C. - On Sunday afternoon the Wofford women’s tennis team fell to Coastal Carolina by a score of 6-1 at the Billy Nichols Tennis Center. The loss drops the Terriers to 0-3 on the season. Coastal Carolina improved to 5-0 on the season. 

The Terriers fell behind early in the match during the doubles competition; Coastal Carolina won all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. 

The Terriers lone victory came at number three singles where freshman Guinn Garcia defeated Caitlyn Brooksbank 6-2, 6-2. 

The Terriers will return to action on February, 18 when they will face UNC Charlotte in their home opener at the Reeves Tennis Center on the Wofford College campus at 2:30 pm.
