Charleston, S.C. – The Wofford women’s tennis team lost to the #69 ranked College of Charleston 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon. 

The Cougars won all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead into singles action. College of Charleston won all six singles matches on their way to a 7-0 victory. The Terriers were led by Stephanie Cox who lost a hard back and forth match to Laura Borza 6-4, 7-5. 

The loss drops the Terriers to 1-16 and 0-6 in the Southern Conference. College of Charleston improves to 15-9 and 8-0 in the Southern Conference

The Terriers will be back in action on Thursday afternoon when they will take on Charleston Southern in Charleston, S.C.
