Men’s Golf Slips to Tenth in Final Round of Amelia National Intercollegiate

FERNANDINA BEACH, FLA. – The Wofford men’s golf team slipped to tenth after the final round at the Amelia National Intercollegiate hosted at the par-72 7,166 yard Amelia National Golf and Country Club.
 
The Terriers shot a 307 in round one, responded with a 289 in round two and finished with a 312 in the final round to wrap up the tournament with a 908.
 
Co-host North Florida won the event with a 279-278-286—843.
 
Chandler Brazeal had the best finish for the Terriers as he completd the tournament in a tie for 24th with a 75-71-75 – 221.  Zach Capps finished tied for 26th with a 74-70—78—222, and Charles Moore finished tied for 63th 80-72-82—234.  Hayes Brown entered the clubhouse tied for 65th with a 78-76-81—235, while Brent Whitehead carded an 85-78-78—241.
 
The Amelia National Intercollegiate wrapped up the Terriers fall season.  Wofford will return to action in the spring with The Charleston Shootout at the Links of Stono Ferry.
