Final Results
CLEMSON, S.C. -- Three Wofford Terriers set school records at the Clemson University Tiger Paw indoor track and field meet Friday and Saturday.
On the men’s side, Trey Parker ran 4:33.56 mile run to break his previous school record by four seconds and finished 27th.
Katie Kessler set the school record in the 800m with a time of 2:21.00, which was good enough to finish in 12th in her heat.
In the women’s 4x400m, Katie Kessler, Alyssa Burkert, MacKenzie DeGraff and Emily Gothberg ran a time of 4:12.55 to set a new school record and finished in 19th.
The Terriers also had six top forty finishes.
For the men, Chase West finished in 39th with a time of 2:05.20 in the men’s 800m. In the 5,000m Maverick Harris ran a time of 16:09.30 to finish in 23, Russell Baker finished in 31st place with a time of 16:39.77 and Matt Menard rounded out the event for the Terriers with a time of 17:18.63 in 33rd place.
On the women’s side, Carly Egan ran a time of 18:58.93, which was good enough for 6th place in the 5,000m. Kim Stauffer finished with a time of 19:48.33 for 17th and Sam Hughes ran a 20:19.12 for 22nd place, both runners competed in the 5,000m, as well.
Wofford will compete in the SoCon Indoor Championship Meet on February 26th for their next meet.
