CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Wofford women’s tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to #74 College of Charleston Saturday afternoon at the CofC Tennis Center.
With the loss, the Terriers drop to 3-7 overall and 0-1 in Southern Conference play. The Cougars improve to 11-4 overall and 4-0 in league action.
College of Charleston took an early 1-0 advantage, sweeping doubles play to claim the doubles point.
The Cougars did not let up at the start on singles action, taking all matches in straight sets.
The Terriers will quickly turn around to take on Presbyterian College Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in Clinton, S.C.
