CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Wofford men’s golf team slipped to a tie for 14th after the final round of The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,363 yard Bulls Bay Golf Club.

Wofford finished the 54-hole event with a 294-298-319—911.  Auburn won the tournament with a 285-275-294—854.

Chandler Brazeal led the Terriers with a 78-69-78—225, while Mark Joye followed with a 74-76-78—228.  Cory Taylor carded a 75-78-80—233, and Brent Whitehead turned in a 71-75-89—235.  Brannan Hudson entered the clubhouse with a 74-80-83—237.

Auburn’s Niclas Carlsson took the top spot of the leaderboard with a 70-70-71—211.

Wofford will take a week off before hosting The Coca-Cola Invitational at the Country Club of Spartanburg on April 9 through April 10
