Â
The Tigers (4-4) in the first match won two of the three doubles matches and then split the singles matches three and three with Wofford.
"I'm broken hearted with the score and at the same time, I couldn't be prouder of how hard we played today," said head coach
Rod Ray. "After losing 4-3 in the morning, we had guys who fault as hard as they could in the afternoon against some very good players. Our guys showed that they are high character people and with this kind of effort, very good things will come in due time. We learned a lot today not only about competing, but also about ourselves. This is going to be a fun season."
