SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College men's and women's track and field teams took part in two meets over the weekend. The Georgia Tech Invitational was held on Friday and Saturday, while the Holy City Relays in Charleston were on Saturday.

On Friday at Georgia Tech,
Amber Lust set a new school record in the 100 meter hurdles at 14.96.
Anya Bunao took fifth place in the steeplechase with a time of 11:34.70.
Alex Michaels ran the 1500 meters in 4:00.13.
Gaston Hayworth was 13
th in the hammer with a throw of 46.29 meters and
Tevin Johnson was 12
th in the long jump at 6.81 meters.

During the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday,
Joe Harbacevich was seventh in the 800 meters at 1:52.59. The women's 4x100 relay team of
Alexandra Burgess,
Amber Lust,
LeAndrea Combo and
McLeod Dean was eighth overall at 48.54.

For the men at the Holy City Relays on Saturday,
Cisco Ferre finished first in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:01.94.
Omar Mingo and
Sam Robinson finished eighth and ninth, respectively, in the 100 meters.
Ben Hensley took sixth place in the 800 meters,
Will Stutts was fourth in the 1500 meters, and
Cristian Widenhouse was fifth in the 3000 meters.
Conrad Heinrich finished seventh in the 110 meter hurdles and the 4x400 relay was third.
Omar Mingo added a fourth place finish in the long jump and Longinus Nnodim was seventh in the shot put.
Conrad Heinrich was second in the javelin and ninth in the discus.

Top finishers for the women at the Holy City Relays included
Shannon McAndrew taking second place in the 3000 meters as four Terriers finished in the top five in the event.
Sara Wilson was second in the 400 meter hurdles and the 4x400 relay was second.
Sara Jane Hayes was third in the high jump and sixth in the long jump.
Sloane Brandon took third in the pole vault, while
Emily Williams was fourth in the shot put.
Alex King was third in the hammer throw and fourth in the discus, with Erin Troyer finishing fourth in the javelin.

Wofford will compete next Friday at the Catamount Invitational. The outdoor season will conclude for the Terriers on May 11-12 at the Southern Conference Championships held at Western Carolina.
