HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Wofford College men's and women's indoor track and field teams continued the season at the Thundering Herd Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Jeff Small Track at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex. Four school records were set in the meet, including in the women's 4x400 meter relay.

Bosco Bapoupeleh was the top finisher for the men in the 60 meters at 7.26 and
Bradford Smith had a 51.38 in the 400 meters.
Joe Harbacevich was tenth overall in the 800 meters at 1:55.56 and seventh in the mile at 4:19.83.
Cristian Widenhouse was the top Wofford finisher in the 5,000 meters. The men's 4x400 team of
Bradford Smith,
Joe Harbacevich,
Jack Zemp and Robert Stout crossed the line in 3:29.21.
Omar Mingo was tenth in the long jump at 6.33 meters and fifth in the triple jump at 14.02 meters.
Hunter Griffin was the top Terrier in the shot put. In the weight throw,
Longinus Nnodim was eighth at 15.67 meters and
Gaston Hayworth was tenth at 15.47 meters. Freshman
William Stout set a new school record in the heptathlon with 4449 points, good for second overall.
Conrad Heinrich was eighth in the heptathlon with 4293 points, which included a first place in the 1000 meters.

In the 60 meters for the women,
McLeod Dean finished in 7.95, just a hundredth of a second off her school record time. In the 200 meters, Dean broke her school record with a time of 25.46. Freshman
Kassidy Morton broke the school record in the 400 meters, crossing the finish line in 58.84.
Mary Stewart Wilson was the top finisher for the Terriers in the 800 meters and the mile.
Anya Bunao finished the 3,000 meters in 10:43.02 and
Shannon McAndrew finished the 5,000 meters in 18:38.82.

Amber Lust was the first Terrier to finish the 60 meter hurdles at 9.14 and she was also tenth in the pentathlon with 3183 points, which included a first place in the 60 meter hurdles. The 4x400 relay team of
McLeod Dean,
Kassidy Morton,
Amber Lust and
LeAndrea Combo set a new school record of 3:57.80 and finished sixth in a field of 27 teams.

A total of 23 schools from 10 states and 11 conferences competed in the event, including Cincinnati, Xavier, Charlotte, Western Carolina, Bowling Green, Austin Peay, Murray State, Saint Louis and FIU. In the team final rankings, the Wofford men were fourth with 9 points and the women were eighth with three points.

The teams will continue the season next weekend at the Samford Invitational in Birmingham. The Southern Conference Championship will be held on February 25 and 26 in Johnson City, Tennessee.
