SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College football program announced the signings of six student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period.

On defense, the newcomers include defensive linemen Elijah Ball (Rome, Ga.) and Corey Prince (Lauderhill, Fla,) along with linebacker Randy Fuller (Trenton, Fla.). Offensive linemen Al Hogan (Fayetteville, Ga.) and Quashon Greenlee (Anderson, S.C.), along with running back Colby Wood (Jefferson, Ga.) signed for the offense.

"We are very pleased with the young men we signed today," said recruiting coordinator
Shiel Wood. "We feel they are representative of the type of young men we want to bring into our program. They are really good people, really good students and tremendous football players. We are not finished with our 2018 signing class today, but we feel this is a great start for us in the first early signing period."

The next signing period for football will begin February 7, 2018.

The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

2018 Newcomers

Elijah Ball (6-2, 280, Rome, Ga.) started the last two seasons at defensive tackle for the Darlington School and head coach Tommy Atha. As a senior he was named to the Rome All-Area Team as the team was 8-5 and reached the Elite 8 in the playoffs. He also lettered in wrestling and in track and field finished fourth in the state in the shot put and second in the state in the discus. His brother, Dakota, played on the defensive line at Alabama from 2012-16.

Randy Fuller (5-11, 200, Trenton, Fla.) was a four-year letterman in football at Trenton High for coach Andrew Thomas. As a senior, played linebacker, fullback, running back and kicker. He had 1,002 rushing yards, 41 receiving yards and scored 82 total points. He recorded 132 total tackles as a junior, in addition to 197 receiving yards, 551 rushing yards and 76 points scored. Team won the state championship his sophomore season when he had 92 total tackles. Also won a state championship with the baseball team as the designated hitter and ran track. His sister, Taylore, played softball at the University of Florida from 2013-16 and is second in school history with eight grand slams.

Quashon Greenlee (6-2, 285, Anderson, S.C.) was a four-year letterman on the offensive line at T.L. Hanna High School. As a senior, he started at guard as the team posted an 11-1 record for coach Jeff Herron. Greenlee had 48 pancake blocks as a senior and 35 as a junior. He played in the 2017 Shrine Bowl and was named All-Region in addition to serving as team captain for T.L. Hanna. He also competed on the track and field team, finishing fifth in the region in the shot put last spring.

Al Hogan (6-4, 285, Fayetteville, Ga.) was a four-year starter on the offensive line at Landmark Christian School for head coach Wayne Brantley. As a senior he had 65 knockdown blocks in ten games as he earned All-State and All-Region honors. During his junior season had 84 knockdown blocks in 12 games as the team was 10-2 overall and reached the second round of the playoffs. He was also a three-year letterman on the wrestling team, earning All-Region honors.
Corey Prince (6-0, 280, Lauderhill, Fla.) was a four-year starter on the defensive line at Chaminade-Madonna. As a senior, the team was 11-2 for coach Dameon Jones and won the 3A State Championship. Price and 64 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 11 sacks as he earned second team All-County honors. During his junior year he had 70 tackles, 31 tackles for loss and 11 sacks and was named third team All-State. The team was 10-4 and was state runner-up. For his career, 210 total tackles and 82 tackles for loss, along with seven fumble recoveries.
Colby Wood (5-10, 190, Jefferson, Ga.) is the all-time leading rusher at Jefferson High School. In his career, he ran for 5,786 yards and 79 touchdowns. The 79 touchdowns rank 15
th all-time in the state of Georgia. He helped lead Jefferson to four state playoff appearances, including one trip to the semifinals. As a sophomore he had 2,119 yards rushing and 32 touchdowns on 322 carries to earn
Athens Banner-Herald Player of the Year honors, which he repeated as during his junior year with 1,642 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns.
