CULLOWHEE, N.C. – The Wofford College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed on Friday and Saturday at the Beynon Sports Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina. The Terriers had numerous top ten finishes in the meet.

On Friday, Erin Troyer finished fourth in the javelin with a throw of 32.26 meters and
Emily Williams was fifth at 31.70 meters.
Kaitlyn Widmyer went 32.36 meters in the hammer throw.
Gaston Hayworth was sixth overall in the hammer throw at 49.67 meters.

To begin Saturday's competition,
Conrad Heinrich (5,553 points) and
Sam Robinson (5,176 points) were second and third respectively in the decathlon. Heinrich was the top finisher in the shot put, discus, javelin and 1500 meters.
Amber Lust was second in the heptathlon with 4,226 points, while
Sara Jane Hayes was fourth with 3,798 points.

McLeod Dean was fourth in the 100 meters in 21.43 and she also took fourth place in the 200 meters in 25.01. Cairo Booker was tenth in the 400 meters at 1:00.29 and
Kassidy Morton was fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:21.18.
Anya Bunao was the top Terrier finisher in the 1,500 meters at 4:57.51. The women's 4x400 relay was fourth overall.

In the men's 100 meters,
Bosco Bapoupeleh was fifth overall at 11.12 and took tenth place in the 200 meters in 22.70.
Joe Harbacevich ran the 800 meters in 1:52.80 for third place and
Jack Zemp was seventh in the 1,500 meters at 4:03.24.
Ethan Epstein was sixth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:45.71.
Jonathan Hall was the top finisher for Wofford in the 110 meter hurdles at 16.51 and he was seventh in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:00.38. The 4x400 relay was sixth overall.
Omar Mingo was third in the triple jump at 13.98 meters and
Hunter Griffin was eighth in the shot put at 12.95 meters.
Gaston Hayworth threw the discus 38.82 meters for ninth place.

Overall, the Wofford men finished fourth out of twelve teams competing. The Terrier women were seventh out of thirteen teams.

The teams have two meets remaining until the Southern Conference Championships. On April 22 they will compete at the Gamecock Invitational in Columbia, followed by the Appalachian State Outdoor Classic on April 29.
