COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Wofford College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed on Saturday at the USC Open held at the Sheila and Morris Cregger Track on the campus of the University of South Carolina. The Terriers had numerous top ten finishes in the meet and set three school records.

For the women,
McLeod Dean took sixth place in the 100 meters in 12.06 and was also sixth in the 200 meters at 24.58.
Kassidy Morton was fifth overall in the 400 meters with a school record time of 57.43. In the 800 meters,
Jamie Barnett was ninth at 2:23.32 and
Mary Stewart Wilson was eleventh at 2:24.75. Barnett was also ninth in the 1500 meters at 4:52.44.
Anya Bunao won the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 11:51.32.
Amber Lust added an eighth place finish in the 100 meter hurdles at 14.48, which lowered her school record in the event.
Taryn Schoen was seventh overall in the 3,000 meters. The women's 4x100 relay team was seventh overall and the 4x400 relay team of
Kassidy Morton,
Amber Lust,
McLeod Dean and Cairo Booker set a new school record at 3:51.13 as they were fifth overall. Erin Troyer was seventh in the javelin at 33.02 meters.

Bosco Bapoupeleh ran the 100 meters in 11.14 and the 200 meters in 22.38.
Cody Chavis crossed the finish in the 400 meters in 52.85. In the 800 meters,
Joe Harbacevich took second place with a time of 1:52.91, while
Jack Zemp was eighth at 1:57.15.
Jonathan Hall was the top Terrier finisher in the 400 meter hurdles.
Ethan Epstein took second place in the 3,000 meters with at time of 8:59.59. The men's 4x400 relay team was sixth overall.
Sam Robinson cleared 3.75 meters in the pole vault and
Omar Mingo went 13.54 meters in the triple jump.
Gaston Hayworth was eighth in the discus at 41.94 meters and tenth in the hammer at 48.43 meters.

The highly competitive meet featured teams such as Tennessee, South Carolina, Furman, North Florida, College of Charleston, South Carolina State, The Citadel and Charleston Southern.

The teams have one remaining until the Southern Conference Championships, the Appalachian State Outdoor Classic on April 29.
