LEXINGTON, Va. – The Wofford College men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed Friday and Saturday at the VMI Winter Relays. The meet took place at the VMI Corps Physical Training Facility. The Terriers posted numerous top ten finishes at the meet and five new school records were established.

On Friday,
Amber Lust ran the 60 meter hurdles in 8.73 to set a new school record.
McLeod Dean ran a 7.80 in the 60 meters semifinals to the set a new school record.
Bryson Coleman went 12.72 meters in the weight throw.
Isaiah Ellis ran the 60 meter hurdles in 8.44 and
Omar Mingo ran the 60 meters in 7.15. The men's 4x800 relay team of
Ford McCoy,
Ben Hensley,
Jack Zemp and
Joe Harbacevich set a school mark in 7:53.08 with a first place finish and the women's team of
Madison Paraskeva,
Jamie Barnett,
Sommer McKenzie and
Anya Bunao was first in 9:39.98.
Alexandra Burgess was eighth in the triple jump at 11.07 meters.
Kassidy Morton was fourth in the 500 meters at 1:17.13.

During Saturday's events,
Omar Mingo was third in the long jump at 6.96 meters.
Ben Hensley ran the mile in 4:27.19 for tenth place and
Jamie Barnett was 15
th in the women's mile.
Joe Harbacevich set a school record in the 400 meters in 49.77 with an eighth place finish.
Olivia Head was ninth in the women's 400 at 59.77.
Ford McCoy was 11
th in the 800 meters in 1:58.10.
Sara Jane Hayes took tenth place in the long jump at 5.36 meters.
Madison Paraskeva was third overall in the 800 meters in 2:15.83,
Austin Lufkin was second overall in the shot put at 16.23 meters.

The men's 4x400 relay team of
Bradford Smith,
Cody Chavis,
Sam Larkin and
Conrad Heinrich was 11
th in 3:31.20. The women's 4x400 team was third overall in 3:55.98, with
McLeod Dean,
LeAndrea Combo,
Kassidy Morton and
Olivia Head on the team. The men's distance relay team ran a 10:26.77 for second place with
Joe Harbacevich,
Will Stutts,
Ford McCoy and
Jack Zemp running. The women's distance medley team of
Jamie Barnett,
Amber Lust,
Madison Paraskeva and
Hannah Steelman was first in 12:02.64 to set a new school record by five seconds.

The teams will next compete in the Southern Conference Championship on February 24 and 25 in Lexington, Virginia.
