Box Score CONWAY, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team suffered its first defeat of the season, 7-0 at Coastal Carolina on Saturday afternoon. The Terriers battled hard in every mach but were unable to secure a point against the Chanticleers. The loss moves Wofford to 6-1 on the season
 
Coastal Carolina downed Wofford in the doubles matches with three 6-3 victories. The Terriers lineup for doubles was as followed: #1 Cassidy Hicks/Jenna Vroman, #2 Lauren Reid/Samantha Russell, #3 Annie Mayfield/Brittney Wilbur.
 
The Terriers continued to battle in the singles matches as #1 Hicks forced a third-set tie breaker but fell 10-6. Wofford's lineup for the singles matches was as followed: #1 Hicks, #2 Vroman, #3 Reid, #4 Wilbur, #5 Curran Carver, #6 Mayfield.
 
Wofford will look to bounce back when the team hosts North Greenville on February 20 at 2 PM at Reeves Tennis Center.
