Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Davidson on Sunday afternoon at Reeves Tennis Center. The Terriers fall to 8-4 while Davidson improves to 12-2.
Wofford led off the day against a strong Davidson side with a victory in the doubles matches to get out in front, 1-0. The doubles lineup for the Terriers was as followed: No. 1

Samantha Russell. Hicks and Vroman fell in the first match, but Reid and Russell pulled through for the Terriers for a 6-3 win to even the doubles score. Carver and Wilbur cemented the Wofford victory with a thrilling 7-6 victory to put Wofford up to start the match.
Davidson didn't let this opening deficit effect it, however, as the Wildcats produced a clean sweep in the singles events to secure the 6-1 final score. The Terriers' lineup for singles was as follows: No. 1 Hicks, No. 2 Vroman, No. 3 Reid, No. 4 Carver, No. 5 Wilbur and No. 6

Wofford will return to the court on Wednesday when the Terriers travel to Greenville to face off against Furman at 3 p.m.
