Box Score JOHNSON CITY, TN. – The Wofford women's tennis team fell 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at ETSU. With the loss, Wofford moves to 8-7 overall and 0-4 in the Southern Conference.
 
Wofford got off to a great start, winning two doubles matches to clinch the team point. Wofford's lineup for doubles was as followed: No. 1 Cassidy Hicks/Jenna Vroman, No. 2 Curran Carver/Brittney Wilbur, No. 3 Lauren Reid/Samantha Russell. After ETSU won the opening match, the Terriers responded by winning two straight to clinch the team point. Hicks/Vroman won 6-4 to tie the team score and Reid/Russell clinched the point with a 6-4 victory.
 
Despite dropping the team point, ETSU remained calm and swept the singles matches to down Wofford. The Terriers lineup for singles was as followed: No. 1 Hicks, No. 2 Vroman, No. 3 Reid, No. 4 Carver, No. 5 Wilbur, No. 6 Russell.
 
Wofford will return to the court on Friday, April 6 when the Terriers host Mercer at 10:00 AM. The team will end the season at home hosting UNCG on Saturday, April 7 at 1 PM and Samford on Friday, April 13 at 2 PM on senior day.
