JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – The Wofford College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the North Florida Invitational on Friday at Hodges Stadium. The Terriers set five school records during the meet and had numerous top ten finishes.

The field events began with
William Stout clearing 4.15 meters in the pole vault to set a new school record.
Hunter Griffin was ninth in the hammer throw at 44.62 meters and added an 11
th place finish in the discus at 41.18 meters.
Conrad Heinrich was fifth in the men's javelin at 51.75 meters and
Megan Dunn was third in the women's javelin with a throw of 37.62 meters.
Longinus Nnodim was seventh in the men's shot put at 14.95 meters.
Shakaiya Bradford set a new school record in the women's shot with a throw of 12.09 meters for a 12
th place finish.

On the track, the women's 4x100 relay team was fifth at 47.21.
Amber Lust set a new school record in the 100-meter hurdles at 13.89 and was fifth overall.
Isaiah Ellis won the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.78. In the 100 meters,
McLeod Dean was fifth for the women and
Jaylen Muhammad was 15
th for the men.
Olivia Head was 13
th in the women's 400 meters.
Sommer McKenzier was ninth in the women's 800 meters and
Ford McCoy was 12
th in the event for the men. In the 400-meter hurdles,
Kassidy Morton was sixth for the women and
Isaiah Ellis was second and
Elijah Bull third for the men.

In the 200 meters,
McLeod Dean was second overall at 23.79.
Jaylen Muhammad ran the 200 meters in 21.56 to finish fourth, as his time broke a school record previously set in 2003 by Adrian Borders.
Hannah Steelman won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a school-record time of 9:52.71. The men's 4x400 relay team was fifth overall. In the invitational 1,500 meters,
Madison Paraskeva was eighth in 4:44.78 for the women and
Jack Zemp was tenth for the men in 3:58.13.
Shannon McAndrew was 12
th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:48.74.

Teams that competed at North Florida included Notre Dame, Florida A&M, VCU, South Carolina, Kennesaw State, Jacksonville, and Bethune-Cookman.

Following the USC Open on April 13, the Southern Conference Championship will be held on April 26 and 27 at Samford.
