KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Wofford College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Tennessee Challenge on Saturday at Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee. Due to rain, the meet was called before most running events could take place.

Events that were held before the rain included
Madison Paraskeva finishing fourth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:40.88.
Sommer McKenzie ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:42.88 to finish second. In the men's long jump
Omar Mingo went 6.65 meters to take seventh place.
Longinus Nnodim threw the hammer 52.44 meters to finish sixth and
Conrad Heinrich was fifth in the javelin at 52.58 meters.

The NCAA Regionals will be held May 24 and 25 in Jacksonville, Florida, for those that qualify. Â
